Tuahine lighthouse

 Tuahine lighthouse

Last term in term 2 the Moana syndicate walk down along the beach. The walk to the Tuahine lighthouse took us about 2 hours two get there and back. Room four (Honu) made a metaphor of the tuahine lighthouse. You had to do it by yourself.

It was so fun and interesting. I and some other people are still finishing of the lighthouse metaphor. In my lighthouse metaphor I have included all of the detail it needs I have even included all of the drips, leaks and rocks. The lighthouse lights up our learning in a lot of different ways. Some of the ways are shine your light, shine bright and a new one we made up is lead the way. For us to shine our light we have these things called shind cards. Your teacher will give one out to you if you have been shining your light and a lot of other ways. This is our lighthouse metaphor.
